  54. Yeah, whe have several of those cranes wondering around in our home, made by my beautiful daughter and her friends.

This is a nice polkadot crane :))
He is holding it like a real treasure, and that it is!

  55. his lips at the corner just make the picture so much more engaging, it’s telling a story! I’ll try making the cranes today, I’ll look for printed paper first or I’ll even make my own 🙂

  57. Oh my gosh – this is beautiful, Victoria! I had no idea about the 1000 cranes effort for Japan. So glad I know about it, now. I just gave a whole box of origami papers to my husband, Ted. He’s going to fold a whole bunch! He’s so good with that kind of thing – you should see how he wraps presents! I’m so glad to participate! This crane here is just gorgeous and touches my heart so much. May we fold 10 million cranes for 10,000 wishes! =)

  81. It so nice to do, something so small, but if we all do it, it has so much power!

Love how you boy is holding it!

  82. i’m loving all of your crane shots. from a technical standpoint, they are great photos, but in addition to that, the sentiment is quite touching.

  83. It’s magic! The child’s touch makes this the best of all your cran shots. This would raise funds for the cause! As if that would help…
