Verano azul 2


Ayer habíamos dejado el asunto en el momento preciso en que enfilábamos la autopista dirección Girona – Francia – Italia – «el infinito y más allà». Aquel año 2006 el 28 de julio era un viernes lo que significa operación salida en Barcelona, pero también en Marsella, Génova etc. ciudades por las que pasamos en nuestro inacabable viaje. Un viaje al principio cargado de buen humor


¿Que porqué les he tapado los ojos? Pues porque estos son capaces de querer cobrar derechos de imagen.
Después de Dios sabe cuantas caravanas a una hora indecente hacíamos una parada al más puro estilo «titiriteros» en un área de servicio italiana cuyo nombre prefiero olvidar.


En la relación de atascos he de aclarar que no todos fueron operación salida,  también tuvimos un atasco «operación llegada» porque nuestra ruta incluía Rimini, lugar de vacaciones de muchos muchísimos italianos, en realidad creo que todos los que no se van a Ibiza, estan en Rimini o haciendo cola para llegar allí,  como nosotros.
Aquel día, ahora puedo decirlo porque creo que habrán prescrito, entre todos nos saltamos todas las normas de tráfico habidas y por haber, todas menos una, la de velocidad porque correr, lo que se dice correr no se podía. ¿por qué hicimos gala de tanta jeta circulando por el arcén cambiando de carril etc.? mejor no entro en detalles. Pues porqué debíamos llegar cuanto antes a Ancona, ciudad fea donde las haya , a tiempo para coger el ferry.
Pero a pesar de todos nuestros esfuerzos, a pesar de aguantarnos el pipí, todo fuera por no parar, a pesar de escuchar unas 10.000 veces y con razón «porco spagnolo», a pesar de todo cuando llegamos a Ancona el ferry «nuestro ferry» cerraba puertas y emprendía travesia.

Por delante teníamos 6 horas de espera, tiempo que aprovechamos de la mejor manera posible.


Cuando por fin embarcamos, la tónica siguiendo siendo más o menos la misma.

Llegabamos a Zadar alrededor de las 10 de la noche del sábado 29 de julio  y por delante aun nos quedaban unos cuantos kilometros, en realidad algo más de unos cuantos y por supuesto salir de Zadar, lo que nos tomó casi una hora. Mi hijo sostiene que estaba mal señalizado yo creo que los que ya no estabamos «señalizados» eramos nosotros mismos.

Por fin a las 2 de la madrugada, hora más o hora menos que yo ya no estaba para esos detalles, llegabamos por fin a Split donde nos esperaba el barco que habíamos alquilado y lo que era aun más interesante su tripulación, que esa sí merecería un libro aparte. Empezaban nuestras vacaciones que dentro de lo que cabe discurrieron con relativa normalidad, excepción hecha tal vez del curioso concepto de la higiene personal del marinero/cocinero, de algunas situaciones llamemoslas «enojosas» cuando nuestro barco se convertía en punto de paso del pasaje y la tripulación de otros cuatro barcos abarloados al nuestro. Pero bueno como dice mi marido

eso también tiene su gracia

Aunque yo, la verdad, no se la veo, pero claro yo soy por derecho propio la quejica de la familia.

En fin que Croacia me gustó es un poco la España de hace unos cuantos años, tiene unas posibilidades turísticas infinitas (lo que no siempre es bueno) pero todo eso despues de aquella odisea la verdad no nos importaba mucho, en aquel momento lo que tocaba era disfrutar. ¿Pensáis que este es el punto y final?

Bueno pues eso os lo cuento mañana pero digamos que eso fue una «señal».

  2. Las vueltas en Zadar te recuerdo que fueron buscando una gasolinera porque mi coche estaba seco! Hasta que unos muy amables policias nos acompañaron hasta una gasolinera de servicio (tras señalarles efusivamente el marcador de gasolina del coche después de que nos vieran hacer 3 infracciones seguidas).

    Luego encontrar la autopista fué pan comido 😀
